The Shakespeare Riots redux

I’ve been hard at work on my new book—about which more soon—hence the unforgivably long silence.

Meanwhile, my first book is having a welcome revival thanks to the Shakespeare anniversary. I recently spoke about The Shakespeare Riots at the Ransom Center in Austin, TX—a really enjoyable experience. Here’s a link to an interview I did for the Ransom Center blog, Cultural Compass. And here’s a link to the speech on the Ransom Center’s YouTube channel.

Next up: a talk about The Shakespeare Riots at the British Library—the annual Sulgrave Manor Watson Chair lecture—entitled Dying for Shakespeare. Bookings can be made here on the British Library website.

Watch this space for much more….
